We Blinked... and It's Already August.

A little update from our family and a reminder that summer isn't quite over.

Every summer starts with the feeling that there is plenty of time.

Then suddenly... you're planning back-to-school shopping, the evenings arrive a little earlier, and you're wondering where the last few months went.

This summer has been one we'll never forget.

We've welcomed family all the way from Australia, played tourists in New York City, celebrated our wedding anniversary, wandered the beautiful streets and beaches of Mallorca, Spain, and somehow, in between all of that, welcomed dozens of wonderful guests to the chalet.

One of our favorite parts of hosting is knowing that while we're making memories with our family, other families, couples, and friends are making memories of their own at Sojourn.

If there's one thing this summer has reminded us, it's that the calendar fills itself but the moments worth remembering usually happen when we intentionally plan for it and slow down.

There are still a few summer dates left before the seasons begin to change.

If you've been thinking about escaping for a couple of days, consider this your little reminder that summer isn't quite finished yet.
