Wow—three years.
It’s wild to think about how far we’ve come since the day we opened the doors to our very first guests at Sojourn Chalet. What started as a dream of creating a cozy retreat in the heart of the Poconos has turned into something bigger than we ever imagined. And the best part? You’ve been part of it every step of the way.
From crackling fires in the winter to lazy hammock naps in the summer, from stargazing in the hot tub to celebrating life’s little (and big!) moments—we’ve had the absolute privilege of hosting so many incredible people. Each guest has left their own special mark, turning our cabins into a place filled with stories, laughter, and memories that will last a lifetime.
Looking Back at the Magic
We still remember the excitement of welcoming our very first guest. They arrived at Sojourn Chalet with a heart full of adventure, and little did we know, they would be the first of hundreds of guests who would make Sojourn their home away from home.
We think back to those first few weeks, eagerly preparing the space, fluffing pillows, and adding the little touches that make a stay feel extra special. We remember the nervous anticipation before that first review came in—and the pure joy of reading words filled with warmth and gratitude. We’ve seen couples returning year after year, families watching their kids grow with each visit, and best friends turning weekends here into lifelong traditions.
In these past three years, we expanded from Sojourn Chalet to the beautiful Sojourn Lodge, allowing even more guests to experience the magic of a Pocono escape. We’ve watched families come together, couples celebrate anniversaries, and friends reconnect over morning coffee on the deck. We’ve seen first snowfalls, birthday surprises, engagement proposals, and even a few impromptu dance parties by the firepit. (Yes, we know about those!)
